Welcome to the online home for Dr. Lila Fahlman School. Opening in September 2017, Dr. Lila Fahlman School will provide programming for students in Kindergarten to Grade 9 who live in the Allard, Callaghan and Cavanagh neighbourhoods in southwest Edmonton. Committed to honoring the life of our namesake, students at Dr. Lila Fahlman will be supported to Reach for the Stars!


Enrolment for all grades at Dr. Lila Fahlman School is now limited to those families who move into our catchment area after April 18, 2017. The catchment area for Dr. Lila Fahlman School is the Allard, Cavanagh and Callaghan neighbourhoods.

Our school continues to work toward completion for our September 5, 2017 first day of school. Staff will be moving into the new building over the next couple of weeks.

During the week of August 14 to 18, we will continue to accept registrations at our temporary location of Roberta MacAdams School (2099 Blackmud Creek Drive SW) from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. 

During the week of August 21 to 25, no registrations will be accepted as we settle in to our new office in the school building.

Our school office at Dr. Lila Fahlman School will open for registrations beginning on Tuesday, August 29, 2017. Our registration hours will be 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Our street address is 680 Allard Blvd. SW. Our school phone remains active throughout the summer at 587-489-4710.

We are excited to welcome all our families on Tuesday, September 5, 2017, for our first day of school!

At Dr. Lila Fahlman School we are creating a community of learners who aspire to be their best, take risks and support each other to succeed. Working collaboratively with all stakeholders, we will work to support all learners in ‌an inclusive and engaging learning environment. Our work is to inspire and support children to understand and reach their potential as compassionate leaders, engaged learners, and ethical citizens. Through a collaborative effort, we create a nurturing environment that fosters creativity, celebrates diversity and encourages independence. It is my sincere hope that we encourage each and every student attending Dr. Lila Fahlman School to reach for the stars!
